At Plantsmith we’re here to help you get the very best out of your indoor greenery.
Our journey began in 2020
Born from over 40 years of horticultural experience, our products combine professional formulations with easy application to provide everything your houseplants need to thrive.
Our mission is to demystify houseplant care for all. Houseplants have been shown to help with mental and physical wellbeing and we believe that everybody should be able to enjoy the benefits of sharing their home with healthy, happy, vibrant plants. Our knowledge spans over 40 years of experience in horticulture and we have designed our products to be as effective, and easy-to-use, as possible, helping everyone to achieve growing success.
Sustainability and the planet are important to us. Our amber glass bottles are reusable and recyclable. We have also recently introduced a brand new Eco Refill Bottle which is made from a plant-based polymer, sourced from a waste product of sugar cane, plus recycled materials. Our ingredients are 100% vegan with no animal ingredients or by-products and all of our oils are Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free.
Meet the team behind Plantsmith
Founder Nick has worked with his dad selling garden care products for the past 7 years, but living in London has restricted him to indoor greenery only. Not satisfied with the houseplant products on offer in the garden centre, he enlisted the help of his dad to develop a range specially designed to give indoor plants the best possible care.
Richard, has been in horticulture for over 40 years. From running garden centres to TV and media, he’s done it all and is the only person ever to receive both the Garden Media Guild Lifetime Achievement Award and the Garden Retail Lifetime Achievement Award.
Debi is an RHS trained horticulturalist and studied art, design and media before gaining a horticulture diploma. She works as a professional gardener, writes for numerous online and print publications, is an avid collector of houseplants and advocator of gardening for wellbeing. A keen hiker, Debi enjoys spending time exploring mountains and woodland finding plants and fungi growing in their natural habitat.

Beautifully presented in a sturdy box and attractive packaging. The leaf shine is easy to use, cleans and feeds houseplants, has a pleasant fragrance and isn't sticky. All good.
